Located in the packaging valley near Bologna, Marchesini Group is a leading supplier of machines and complete lines for packaging of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
Founded in 1974 in Pianoro (Bologna-Italy), where is still today the headquarters, Marchesini Group has grown over the years, and thanks to the constant commitment to innovation, it has been able to build a leading role in the Italian and international markets, where to date over 85 % of its turnover is generated by exports, mainly to Europe and to U.S.A..
Faced the need to improve internal logistics, Marchesini Group has entrusted System Logistics and Lyto’s, for the realization of the new internal automatic warehouse, with a capacity of about 1.200 special containers of 300 kg/each.
Particularly careful to the aesthetic of the new warehouse, Marchesini Group has asked Lyto’s to build the rack with 2 colours and the cladding with a unique aesthetic solution using oval tubes assembled with different spacings.
Result a “jewel” of automatic warehouse.
