Italian market continues to choose LYTO’S

Continues for LYTO’S the series of successes in the pasta industry: in fact, it has been recently completed the construction of the new automatic warehouse in Muggia (TS) for PASTA ZARA, customer for which LYTO’S had already realized an important automatic warehouse in the headquarter of the Company in Riese Pio X (TV).
The Company, located in the province of Treviso (North – East of Italy) and founded in the 1898, in the recent years, has been faced an exponential growth of its market, PASTA ZARA is in fact, the first Italian exporter in the sector, with a major annual turnover ( 240 millions of Euro in the 2013) and an extensive customer base, distributed in 106 countries all around the world.
With annual growth of the products volumes in double figures (more than 300.000 tons per year), the need to equip even the plant of Muggia, of a modern logistics, has become an indispensable decision. PASTA ZARA has confirmed once again the choice of LYTO’S as preferred supplier for a giant self supporting warehouse, that for storage capacity (over 65000 pallet locations) is by far the largest warehouse ever made in Italy in this sector.
The increase of production volumes of PASTA ZARA, which has reached the 300 thousand tons per year of pasta, has therefore necessitated the realization of a new automatic warehouse, for the storage of products, also in the plant of Muggia (TS).
On this project, the most challenging task for LYTO’S has been to be able to combine a very important height ( 38 meters ), with a geological and atmospheric context very difficult like that of the Gulf of Trieste, characterized by inconsistent land and hit for much of the year, by the violent winds of bora.
As often happens, LYTO’S took care of the foundation design, the design, realization and installation of the steel structures, the design and installation of the wall and roof cladding.
