Despite automatic warehouses are carried out since many decades, in Italy and all around the world, sometime new ideas arises, that become solutions made thank to Lyto’s.
Eurostandard è una azienda situata a Tesero, nelle splendide valli del Trentino (www.eurostandard.it), highly specialized and expert on production of polyethilene PE100 fittings, for the construction of transport networks for combustible gas, water and fluid under pressure. The know-how gained in the manufacture of plastic material, supported by the cutting-edge technologies, has led the Company to grow and to compete in a winning way with issues related to the adduction of gas and water, in both civil and industrial sectors.
The goal to improve the efficiency of the logistics of Eurostandard, has been fully achieved through the construction of a new logistic center equipped with a freestanding automatic warehouse, with height of 17 m and capacity more than 6.000 pallet locations.

System Logistics and Lyto’s have been confirmed as preferred suppliers, after the positive experience done with the first internal warehouse realized on the 1999.
Customer need to stock different sizes of unit loads in double-deep configuration, has been brilliantly solved by Lyto’s, thanks to a unique structural solution with wide frames, 2 m width, and top hats supporting pallets, enough wide to safely support different sizes of pallets. This solution has provided, inter-alia, the use of telescopic forks more reliable and less expensive, an optimal distribution of loads on foundations, support at “no cost” for the capillary sprinkler system.
Just in the construction of the sprinkler system for the warehouse, Lyto’s has introduced an entirely new approach. Usually the contract of the sprinkler system is awarded directly by the Customer or the Main Contractor of the whole system, to specialized Companies that design and install the system in a basically independent way from the rack.
- the simultaneous presence of multiples teams of installers (for the rack and for the sprinkler), with consequent problems of safety , working spaces and in general of co-ordination;
- an inevitable extension of the overall timing of installation, because at the end of the rack installation, still remains to complete a significant portion of the sprinkler system;
- no optimization of the costs of the working machines and of the site construction costs (each team works in a completely independent way).
Lyto’s intuition has led to an extraordinary result, that it has been possible only thanks to the availability of Lyto’s to take the task of the realization of the sprinkler system in addition of those of the rack and the cladding.
Managing everything with the goal of optimizing the installation, a single Lyto’s team has installed in the same time rack and sprinkler system, specially designed and realized to maximize ease of this integrated assembly.
Results in terms of both cost savings and time reduction, in addition to those coming from the reduction of site problems, have been extremely appreciable. Located in a very beautiful landscape, Eurostandard has wished to study in conjunction with Lyto’s a cladding solution of great effect, thanks to the use of corrugated panels, placed horizontally.
