The reliable and competitive technical solution, the personal and professional seriousness and the excellent relationship established between the owners of these companies are some of the basic elements of this new LYTO’S success in Italy.
At present, it is not easy to find companies in the engineering sector carrying out their plans of modernizing logistics without delay and second thoughts. GROWERMETAL SpA (www.growermetal.it) was founded in 1950 and is a leading manufacturer of safety washers, metal parts sheared according to customer specifications and springs for railway superstructures.
Since the beginning, Growermetal has remained firmly rooted in its origins of independent company controlled by the Cattaneo family, who has reached its second generation.
Located in Calco, 40 km north of Milan, Growermetal is present in Italy, in Europe and in all major global economic areas such as North America, Middle East, China and other Far Eastern countries.
The design of the new automated self-supporting warehouse was conceived several years ago, after the Cattaneo brothers visited Viteria Euganea in Saonara (Padua), one of LYTO’s historical customer and, on the all, one of the most important automated self-supporting warehouses in Italy.
Growermetal warehouse has a significant size (50 x 18 x H. 20 m), capable of storing both pallets and boxes weighing up to 1200 kg. LYTO’S will deal with the project of foundations, with all metallic structures and the warehouse panelling.
A tribute and special thanks to Dino Dondi, great enlightened mind in the world of automated warehouses and great person, unfortunately died recently, who has widely contributed to the study and setting up of the project of this warehouse. Thanks Dino.
