Continues the extraordinary feeling between LYTO’S and the best Italian apples

Thanks to the high reputation of Lyto’s, have been closed 2 prestigious contracts with company Rivoira and Geos, for the realization of important automatic warehouses with internal controlled temperature, that will be realized during the 2015.

We know that fruit does well, especially that Italian good, for this reason, after the positive experiences with Fruchtof in Merano (BZ, Italy), with Mivor and Texel in Val Venosta (BZ, Italy), Lyto’s has won 2 other major projects in the fruit field.

In this sector, there are never simple warehouse realizations: many are the complexities to manage (from the extremely high humidity, to the bins supports, from the complicated logistic aspects on site, to the very short time schedule) and Lyto’s has all skills to fully satisfy the customer expectations.

First project acquired is with company Rivoira at Verzuolo (CN, Italia), one of the most important Italian fruit producer, with export all over the world, second project is with company Geos, one of the cooperative of the Consortium VIP in Val Venosta.

The first project (Rivoira) is formed by 2 warehouses:

• A warehouse with height of about 33 m, for the storage of 18.000 bins stacked at 3 times, on 12 load levels, all slaved by 4 stacker cranes. Cladding of the warehouse (also this included in Lyto’s supply) is realized with insulated sandwich panels, specific for cold storage.
• A warehouse with height of about 22 m, for the storage of 1.700 pallet with various dimensions, on 7 load levels, and slaved by 2 stacker cranes. Also for this warehouse, flanked to the warehouse for bins, but separately from that by a special wall made by sandwich panels, the cladding is realized with insulated sandwich panels, specific for cold storage.

For the automation the customer has chosen System logistics, Italian company, one of the worl leader in the field of the automation.

Due to the long cooperation existing between the suppliers and the good reputation that Lyto’s has gained in hundreds of projects realized, customer has decided to buy directly from the suppliers with separated orders, without use the expensive formula of a “general contractor”.

The second project (Geos) is represented by:

• A warehouse with height of about 27 m, for the storage of 17.000 bins stacked at 3 times, on 10 load levels, all slaved by 8 stacker cranes. Also in this project, the cladding of the warehouse, included in the supply of Lyto’s, will be realized with insulated sandwich panels, specific for cold storage.

For the automation, customer has chosen the Austrian company LTW Intralogistics, confirming in this way the team of suppliers that have realized with success the previous warehouses for other companies of the Consortium VIP in Val Venosta.

Also in this project, the excellent reputation of Lyto’s and the team spirit demonstrated with LTW in the previous realizations, has drove the customer to choose the way of the direct orders to the suppliers, avoiding the more expensive formula of a “general contractor”.
